1 1/2 tablespoons ground kava kava
8 oz water
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
1/8-1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3 medjool dates, pitted
1 heaping tablespoon coconut cream
1 teaspoon RX vanilla almond butter (optional)
*the night before:
First make the kava kava cold water infusion by mixing the ground kava kava and 8 oz of cold/room temperature water in a jar with a lid and let it sit overnight.
The next morning:
Blend all of the ingredients together except for the coconut cream on high for 10 seconds.
Lower the speed and add the coconut cream while it is blending. Then blend on high for about 20-30 seconds, or until it is smooth and creamy..
Heat up the elixir in a pot if you want to drink it warm and ENJOY!
