Delicious cacao chocolates for a little uplifting energy.

Makes: 1 cup

Ingredients:

1/2 cup cacao powder

1/2 cup extra virgin coconut oil., melted

1/4 cup +1 tablespoon of coconut or almond milk

4 tablespoons pure maple syrup

1/4-1/2 teaspoon of sea salt

Method:

Add the cacao powder, coconut milk, and maple syrup to a high powered blender. Blend on medium for 10 seconds or until they are well combined. Then bring the blender down to low, open the top of the blender and slowly pour in the melted coconut oil as it is blending. Put the top back one once you’ve incorporated all the oil and blend at medium for a few seconds or until well combined.

Pour your chocolate mixture into chocolate molds of your choice, sprinkle some sea salt on top, and keep them stored in a freezer for up to 6 months.

Note: these chocolates will eventually melt if not kept in a freezer or refrigerator.

Option: you can substitute extra virgin coconut oil for cacao butter to create a mousse.
